i'm looking for different kinds of pillows that don't go flat (for sleeping). my cousin had one that was filled with pebbles or beans or something which sounds interesting, but uncomfortable. I'd ask her, but she's in iraq. anyone have any suggestions? i like firm pillows, but the ones i find at Target or the like go flat within a month or 2.

Also I have some real down throw pillows with covers that dont come off of them so I cant just unzip them and throw the covers into the washing machine. Can I put down pillows in the washing machine? Thanks !
