How Do You Clean Feather Pillows and How Often?

   I wash mine in the washing machine with Woolite. I have a frontloader. They take a long time to dry in the dryer and will smell funky, like a wet bird, until they are fully dry. It takes me about 3 dryer cycles and I shake and fluff them every so often and clean the lint trap regularly. I would not dry clean because of sleeping and breathing the chemicals all night seems unsafe.
