Now finally dip the feather into ink and take care you don’t get too much or too less ink in the tip as little ink will fade away quickly and too much will leave blobs on paper. In case there is too much ink in the tip keep a piece of paper or cloth to wipe of glut ink. Also use right ink for calligraphy which is especially for calligraphic purposes and don’t use Indian or printer ink as it won’t work and won’t give desired results.  Choice of right kind of paper is also necessary for calligraphy as you can use either smooth paper or matte paper which will help in giving nicer finish to it.
